Can I use nicotine replacement products on this program?
Yes, if you like. Research shows that a combination of nicotine replacement, social support, and therapy to help you modify your behaviors works well for many people. But you will still have to quit nicotine at some point! Nicotine replacement products are designed to help you quit smoking in stages by separating the smoking habit from nicotine withdrawal.

Can hypnosis really help me quit smoking?
Yes! This program contains 10 self-hypnosis recordings to provide you with ongoing support before, during, and after you quit. Hypnotic suggestions can help you manage the stress associated with quitting smoking. Hypnosis helps you tame your cravings, sleep better, and retrain your brain so you respond differently to the triggers in your environment that used to prompt you to smoke. Hypnosis can also help you create better habits like drinking more water, exercising, and eating healthy food.

How long is the program?
That depends on you! The program has an introduction followed by 6 lessons, and is self-paced. That means that you need to work through all 6 lessons! You can't just jump to your quit date without doing the prep. Each lesson involves thinking, writing, and listening to guided imagery (self-hypnosis) recordings. And once you quit it doesn't stop there. The recordings are designed to be used on an ongoing basis for reinforcement and support as you adjust to life as a non-smoker.
Here are some guidelines for how long each lesson might take you to complete, but remember that each person is different! I recommend that you space the lessons out over several days.
Introduction: 1 hour
Lesson One: 1-2 hours
Lesson Two: 1 hour
Lesson Three: 1 hour
Lesson Four: 1-3 hours
Lesson Five (Quit Day): 1-2 hours
Lesson Six: 30 minutes
There are also ongoing daily self-hypnosis exercises, to support you after you quit. The following items are helpful in completing the program:
